LMP goes to Graphene Week 2024
L2D2 project: NTUA’s PhD student, Ilias Cheliotis disseminated L2D2's latest advancements in graphene and hBN heterostructure transfer using the Laser-Induced Forward Transfer (LIFT) technique at the Graphene Week 2024 conference. His presentation highlighted key experimental results, including the successful transfer of heterostructure and the fabrication of functional touch sensors integrating these materials. The event took place in Prague, Czech Republic, from October 14 to 18, 2024.
MatEl project: Dr. Marina Makrygianni senior scientist at the NTUA has presented “Laser Induced Forward Transfer of graphene and laser soldering of solder paste for the on-chip bonding and integration of photonic components”, achieved within the MatEl project as a collaboration work between NTUA, LioniX International, PHIX and Graphenea. She highlighted how the LIFT and laser soldering technology was utilized to efficiently print solder materials and combine laser soldering process for the bonding of commercial resistors on Si wafers. In parallel, key experimental results, were presented including the successful LIFT of graphene and the fabrication of functional GFETs characterized as photodetectors. The event took place in Prague, Czech Republic, from October 14 to 18, 2024.
